just thinking we could have a section on backwards compatibility in the forums it could be used for giving information out on how well a game runs, whats the aspect ratio, what cables it works or does not work on (vga cable only does 60htz).
i know ive posted about this earlyer on today but i thin ka section for this type of post would come in handy and you as a moderater could have a master list of games in a lcoked post at the top after we have given the input on our games in backwards compatibility.
thanks
we could set it out like this
Game Name:
Aspect ratio:
Smoothness:*
Problems/Bugs:*
VGA Cable Compatible:*
Visual Improvments:*
with just a sentance or two in the sections with a *

Is the VGA cable issue only important in PAL countries?

Why not just start a Thread?

A new forum isn't necessary, but if this becomes an important enough issue, it should get sticky'd.

Aspect ratio: im not sure its not 4:3 and its not 16:9 i think its 14:9 i have two small black bars left and right runing at 1360x768
Smoothness: its ok seems smooth and their was no drops in fram rate on the part i tested which was first city in the game.
Problems/Bugs: their is graphical errors now and again that look like 100s and 1000s they dont affect the game play at all adn dont get in the way but they are noticable.
VGA Cable Compatible: Yes
Visual Improvments: you still have jaggies it isnt full widescreen adn their are problems with them little lines its hard to explain them.

just double check and the following gmaes are PAL-50htz only so they dotn work on vga cable.
Ghost Recon 2 : summit Strike
Halo
Prince Of Presia The Sands of Time
Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Forza Motorsport
Max Payne 2
Rainbow Six 3
so if you are like me and use the vga cable you will have to do some cable swapping to play these games

is it ok if we have this thread moved to either 360 general or 360 hardware just think it dosent belong in this section anymore.
Also if any one want to add up the games they have tested it could be usefull information for other i will test my non vga cable games later on.

Game Name: Prince of persia The sands of Time
Aspect ratio: 4:3
Smoothness: its slows down a lot some heavy dips this causes problems because the jumping isa bout timing and you carnt time it right with unrliable slow downs
Problems/Bugs: slow downs a issue
VGA Cable Compatible: No
Visual Improvments: It looks looks the same plays better on 360 pad in my opinion
