What does everyone think about them? Im one of those people who's always changing things desktop pics, avatars, sigs and now themes, gamer pics. So do they matter to you? first off i thought id stick with the atari one then the PGR100 came out and now i change it all the time. But ive never paid for one. Has anyone on here bought them off the market place which are your favorite ones? My favorite one are the ones you earn, like the ones in Quake4
So whats your views good or bad?

Sure they are good, why would they be bad? lol.

But for me I am someone who doesn't change very often. I have only had two gamerpics in the couple of months that I have had my Xbox 360 for. :)

i think they're pretty nifty, able to personalise is never a bad thing, i reckon when the camera comes out youll be able to take a pic with it to use as your gamerpic BUT microsoft will charge you for every pic you want to use, the standard price like 80 points or something.
i had the EA one cuz it was the best that was there, but i bought the current dead rising one simply cuz its a zombie with a cap on, and not many people use it, although i was tempted by the burnout ones

i rather have my own picture and paying for them is just not on!!!! so ive voted bad idea because the fact that you have to buy new gamer pictures.

they give me 500 points for conpansation the prices are designed so you spend 80 points and that eventually you will have points left over that you carnt use

Not really bothered to be honest. I've only got Ash from Kameo because on Wales national flag there is a red dragon and thats the only reason I have it.

I think there pretty good. I have bought the England and Brazil ones...thenI saw someone else had the England one, so bought the brail one, which so far is unique as I haven't seen anyone else with it. :cool:


Hopefully when the net Fifa (as in '07) comes out, it will have a pic pack for all the teams, hopefully Leeds. Then I just wouldn't change it. :cool:

Custom GamerPics are the way forward, though.

You are the only one with Brazil TB as far as I know. I seen some with Germany but not too many. I bought the Sweden one but thats the only football related one.

But I think Gamer Pictures of club teams would be massive.

I've got my Raiders NFL one, but I'd love a Paraguay one for the World Cup.

They don't do Paraguay, though. Liechtenstein and Luxembourg are ok, but no Paraguay. :brow

I'm all for it. Some people just hate anything you have to spend extra cash on, but that's part of a market economy. And on the whole, the market economy has given us plenty of nice things, especially in gaming.

The only problem I see with gamerpics and MS points is how to handle the camera situation. If you can take any picture you want, and use that for your gamerpic, then there's less reason for all of us to buy pics that someone else made. And clearly MS doesn't want to lose that cash. My guess is we'll have to use around 80 MS points to get an Xbox Camera picture to be our gamer picture.
