View Full Version : Tomb Raider Delay

Eidos' slip ups keep getting better. This time, it's a nip-slip. That's right. Apparently, some hidden, unmapped texture that someone ripped frrom Tomb Raider's files shows (*gasp*) dirty, filthy titty! http://files.xboxic.com/xbox-360/tomb-raider-legend/tombraider-tittie-texture.jpg
And so, in a post-Hot Coffee world, Eidos is delaying the US release, so that the PC version can be fixed. The Xbox and 360 versions are not being retooled, however, because you can't rip unmapped textures on a console. So, this isn't a chance for the Xboxers to get that intro movie.

Hey, this is America we're talking. Violence is completely harmless and celebrated, but the female form (which in no way appears in normal gameplay) is totally and one hundred percent perverse, perverting, disgusting, morally corrupting, and egregiously abominable.
And just to add one more layer of hypocricy, we think burqas are barbarically oppressive.

Wait, you guys have copies of the games? JJB, I would guess someone on your list was playing the recently released demo.

Well if he was playing the demo then wouldn't it have said "Tomb Raider (Demo)" instead of what I saw which was "Tomb Raider"?

I know Battlefield does that, but I dunno if it works the same for every demo. Give me an IM or something if you want to test this out, I have the demo downloaded already.

My brother-in-law's playing it right now, he's had it for about 2 days, to prove it, you can have a look at his achievements that he already has:

So the delay in no way affects the uk, if it does, then he's gonna be laughing his ass off.

LMAO! I love that game, putting cats on shotguns is the best thing since sliced bread, and making people spew too by continuosly spraying them with urine as got to be a blast.
