Gotta be a stinker...also need to check if it's on the Market Place!

The trailer for Hollywood's latest video game-related cinematic crap-fest (disco-lisciously entitled Stay Alive) has hit Xbox Live Marketplace with the sickening thud of a dozen flailing show biz careers. The only thing unique about this entry in the Michael Myers meets Mario category is that it doesn't star a former pro-wrestler or bear the cursed mark of Uwe Boll. It does have Frankie Muniz of Malcom in Middle fame playing a character named "Swink."

Of course, the reviews are uniformly bad, despite the pathetic marketing plants sprinkled at IMDB. Send a message to the suits and stay away from Stay Alive, if only to ward off the direct-to-video sequel.

With two Resident Evils and now Silent Hill coming up in April, I think tinsel town has mined the survival horror genre for all it's worth. Then there's the console "comedy" Grandma's Boy that disappeared from theaters in two seconds. If we're ever going to see the perfect marrige of video game and film, the creative cousins might have to switch things up. Does Brokeback Halo sound like Oscar material?

I have seen this. If you like your B-Movies you will actually quite enjoy this. Not the worst movie I have seen this year.

It sounds like the 1994 movie brainscan the one with Edward Furlong in.That one was a horror/videogame movie, and boy it sucked!
