I was at Old Trafford yesterday in the Stretford End. Its a right dog-hole around the ground, but the ground and pitch itslef is nothing short of spectacular.

Though, my only criticism was that you don't get much leg/knee room.

I'd take some padding for your knees so the person in front doesn't squash them. No leg room at that place whatsoever. Nice looking stadium though, and there extending 2 of the corners :D

Yep it's always very crowded in there as most of the time i sit in the family stand which is a nightmare to get comfy to watch the game as you've always someones knees digging into your back but i find if you sit in the south stand it's a lot better down there. It's great that we'll be updating the stadium to hold up to 75,000.

I was in Stretford End. They do nice food there and the pub up the road called the Trafford Pub is pretty cool and gets a good atmosphere going. Just ouside there though, round corner from Ladbrokes, those foods things are crap and the food is disgusting. They are my first impressions of the place anyway. Quite high for a Leeds fan :p

And can someone please explain cricket and rugby to me?
We'ed be here a while.

Basically put, Cricket is similar (in ways) to Baseball. EG: You have a batsman, and someone Bowls it at them, they then have to hit it and run. Only, there are only certain ways in which you can bowl and there are 2 batsman in at once, and they have to run to the other side where the other wicket is. The wicket is what the bowler aims for, and if he hits it then the batter is out. After 10 people are out its the next teams turn to bat. While its your turn bowling, you have one bowler and the rest of the team fielding, these players run for the ball when the batter hits it. Very basically.

Rugby, ah, Rugby. When it comes to Rugby there are 2 different Sports. Rugby League and Rugby Union. When it comes to basics these are actually pretty similar. Only, a few of the rules are different and in Union there are more players on each team. However, the aim is still the same. You have to get the ball and pass it (only backwards, forward passing results in a penalty to the opposing team) and you have to try and run with the ball over the line, and put the ball down(this is the differece to American Football), you have to put it down behind the line, and this is called a Try. IN the different sports you ge t adifferent amount of points for a Try (4 in R.League and 5(I THINK) in Union. Then, level with where the ball got put down, the kicker will take the ball back as far as he wants and try and kick it between the posts (once again, similar to American Football) and this is for an extra couple of points (2 in R.League and 3(I THINK) in R.Union).

All 3 of these I could talk about all day but im sure you get the general idea now :)

SKY...what do you mean?

As has been pointed out, its a UK satellite company, they have hundreds of channels, and are owned by a certain Mr Rupert Murdoch. They have to monopoly on major sports in the UK, and most American sports are given a great share of their time, i.e 2 or 3 American Football games on a Sunday, live NBA, even (although technically not a sport), WWE gets broadcast live on the channel.

Only two games this season (that i've seen{all home , 4 away}) we've looked bad in, and that's plymouth and burnley.

But a mixture of poor tactics/subs from blueknapp, and low confidence etc caused us to throw leads away, not capitalise on games and generally balls it up. With arguable one of the best squads in the league, its pathetic.

Probably at least 10, actually.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Charlton, Fulham, West Ham, Watford, Crystal Palace, Millwall, and probably a few more I've missed out.

IN London. I believe.

London Bronco's rugby league used to play there, so i'd imagine it's in it. :)

First of all I must say that I'm italian, so:

Football: Juventus (it's in the 2nd division now but it doesn't matter for me)

Basket (Euroleague): Climamio Bologna
Basket (NBA): Toronto Raptors (for 1st pick Bargnani)

MLB: Boston Red Sox (down with the Yankees)

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers (I really like Roethlisberger)

That's all i guess.

Toluca, not a bad team to support, doing very well this season, undefeated at home, and Bruno Marioni is a lethal striker.

One thing though, WHY WHY the A's! Any Team but the A's! I HATE Them, Especially since they won the Division this year :@

Yeah man, family shizzle. My grandad used to live in Newcastle and had a season ticket before he moved back up here.

Also, yeah, Killer, I don't REALLY support a team in the MLB, but seeing as they share a stadium with the Raiders, I'm saying the A's just now. :) As for the America connection, that's purely Cabanas-related.

Paraguayan players are also the reason I like Toluca, Palmeiras, Dortmund and NEC on that list. :D
