Well because Im so super cool, I think I might be boosting the first round to this week. And I want this to be going on for months, having season at a time. So this will probably be an 8 week season and then the ensuing playoffs. Another Season will start after that, with the same teams. Now here is the tricky part about moving it up to this week or the week after that. The teams dont have to be even. Basically, if you do not recruit 2 more people to your team its not my problem. But if your confident you can go with 2 players, then that will be your decision. I probably will only move it a week up, so next weekend we willy play (this weekend is only 2 days away :/). Will keep you informed. And BTW....

About the ConneX thing, though.

There are 4 teams with only two players, so surely you could get rid of one of these teams to let ConneX be together as a group, seeing as that's what they want.

For example, you could move one person from Team Yurop into another one of the lacking teams, and the other Team Yurop member into another lacking team. Then, as a result, there is a team with no places left, which could be taken by the 3 ConneX members.

That way, all teams barring one have 3 players as well, so we only need 1 more player to get the thing started. :)

I changed up the teams a little bit and I have decide that we will do this. 8 week season. 5 teams. 4 team advance. Seeded Playoffs. And the biggest change...

There will be no more recruiting until positions are available. Basically- you cant join unless someone quits or doesnt show up for two weeks. If you agree with this please say "I agree" and then state why and if you dont do the vice versa.

In this country (and most of Europe/the world), pretty much every team plays over the course of the weekend, with the majority of games on a Saturday afternoon. Which means that seeing as a lot of us have teams to support, we can't be around on Saturdays. :)

It's an Olympic sport, mainly. It's not played widely in many countries, but I think India is one place in which it does have a big following.

But yeah, ice hockey (or just hockey to you) is much better. :cool: sport, and I watch it on late night C5 whenever I can. I love C5 for its American sports coverage.

All I can say is that I'd like to play all these events, but sometimes it's just not possible. I mean, I'm not going to ditch football (which happens like once or twice a week) when I get invited, seeing as I spend far too much time gaming anyway. Sorry it has to be like that, but it is, and I'm sure loads of people are in that kind of situation as well.

It's a real problem as well, because you've put a lot of effort into this, and it's a great idea. There just isn't enough sort of, y'know, commitment on here yet. I'm not having a dig at anyone, but that's just the way things seem to be.

Yeah, that's exactly how it is for me. I hardly have time to game anymore - too much going on. Revising for GCSE's, playing Football, playing Darts, seeing the bird, all commitments I can't afford to drop for a game on the 360.
