Has anyone else noticed that their 360 game cases are actually damaging their 360 games.

I have just noticed that my COD2 disk has two small cracks in the centre of the disk. Luckily they are not too serious yet. Gonna put a bit of superglue on them.

The case that seems to be the problem is the one with the 4 arrows holding the disk not the original batch with 2 springs that say Push Here.

Anyone else had the same problem?

When buying your games, have a quick check of the disk instore (unless its sealed) as gamestore staff have a habit of ripping the disk out.

In short.....no.

You do get a bit a variation in the plastics, so some cases have the holder stiffer than others. Just swap it for an old Xbox game case if you have one or you can buy replacement green cases.

I haven't had any problems with my 360 Games so far however the cases for my Xbox games did leave a few marks on some of my games. I was quite shocked at first but they still worked perfectly fine so it didn't bother me.

It is true i carnt find the pictures but one of the cases it is about 1.1 mm to big causeing pressure on the inner part of the disc so putting it in out cracks its quite badly it has happend to my NFS : MW you carnt get a refund or a new disc beacause none of the companys will take responsibity fo it being screwed so it just looks like us gamers will just have to put up with it :(:(

This is certain, my COD2 has a crack in it which is due to the case causing stress on the disc when taking it in and out, it had trouble loading. Hold on to your game receipts. Waiting to see what Activision have to say.

I haven't noticed any problems with any of mine but I've got pc game disc covers like that. An absolute nightmare to get it out of the case. Geoff Capes would have struggled with the one I have!

See my post HERE (http://www.360monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1850)

Activision say they will replace disks for free if they are less than 3 months old.

Otherwise you have to pay £20.

I have Need for Speed Most Wanted and the case caused a crack in that ( I think anyway, dont know how i could of done it) which has now luckily turned into a nice big chip in the middle.

Oh well, still plays perfectly.
