No details yet. Konami refuse to say anything to us at the moment regards PES6. Probably end of this year though, they usually do one a year.

What a surprise, I wonder when they will announce the 2 new licenses they have :zip:
One PES a year and 3 WE, so they will release WE details before the PES details even though they are 98% the same game.

I'll be end of October, as usual.
Play have it down for the 10th of October, but seeing as no-one else has an official date yet this seems to be just a guess.
Still, as long as it's released at all this year, I'll be happy. I really can't wait.

I was just being sarcastic, seeing as it takes them an entire year to bag a few extra licenses. Hopefully it will be 100% updated, something I have yet to see on a konami (we/pes) game infact.

The only reason as I wont buy Pro Evo 5 (again ) is because now we are in the next gen, graphics are running me right now so if we can get a visually appealing pro evo then waayyhaaay

Yes exactly, the graphics in PES ain't exactly top notch, it's funny when people say konami can't make the graphics better because the PS2 can't handle it, it makes me laugh.
I can name a dozen games that have MUCH better graphics than PES, so no way can this be an excuse, the fact PES doesn't have good graphics is because konami just plain and simply lazy, aka the lack of updated data and licenses.
Is it not funny that the best selling football game is the one with the least licenses and lack of updates? does it not suck buying a game 2 months after the January window yet those transfers ain't included?
I guess PES6 will be the same as PES5.

Licenses are the only thing that really hold pes back but apart from that it is a class game. The graphics arent great but I dont care much about graphics in a football game just as long as the game itself is good and there will probrably be an optionfile you can download with all the updates on it anyway just like previous versions of pes

Online play is a slight problem as well, so hopefully they'll sort that out.
Far too laggy sometimes, and no proper lobbies.

The graphics are nice in my opinion but as I said people say they are the best the PS2 can handle, and that is 100% rubbish. Anyway people shouldn't have to download option files to get updated data, yes if the game is released 2 months BEFORE the transfer window closes, but not when it's out 2 months AFTER.
I could update every squad in a day if I wanted, yet konami can't do this in 2 months? instead they spend these 2 months finding out how to make the most minimal changes to the game they can.
Instead of bringing out 4 versions of the same game each year why not bring out 1 and make sure it's atleast half decent?

appatantly it will be likenormal pro evos but will also include the managment thing they are doing for the ps2 also! I tihnk that will be great! Pro evo would then become a complete package if it had licences! ne worry i do have is thefact that if they focus on managerial play quite alot the fottie gameplaymight be lost! I dont thinkthis will be the case though!

You're missing out, seriously.
PES5 is amazing, and PES6 will probably be even better.

They said they hit the limit on the PS2 in terms of graphics, but that was due to the overall "package". There is alot more space taken up by gameplay elements, animations and so on that takes up PS2 power, so if they put the graphics up anymore then the Ps2 wouldn't handle it.
Look at FIFA, they tried to push the limits in terms of graphics, and they ended up making a game that "lags" every so often on current-gen consoles...and it still doesn't play that good.

They've got the gameplay spot on. I don't think they can lose focus of it.
