For people with codes and preorders the beta will start 15th September

For everyone else with a PS3 it will start 29th September

Download size 1.5GB and it is worth it, getting a lot for a beta

4 maps, Plaza, Village, Ice Cave and Temple

4 modes, Deathmatch, Plunder, Elimination and Chain Reaction.

Cinema Mode, save matches, replay them, move the camera around, and do nifty green screen stuff. All of the tools that will be in the final cinema portion of the game are going to be here for you to play around with.

More - money/store system so that you can take the cash you're earning in multiplayer and buy new skins, boosters, co-op weapon upgrades and taunts.

Twitter - If you enter in your Twitter username and password, the game will automatically Tweet your special accomplishments.

Not bad for a beta aye, unfortunately the beta ends the day the game is released and nothing you have earned will be carried over so it will be time to start all over again.

Also if you have an EU account have a beta code cos i am nice.

It's pretty fun. It's like a fast-paced Gears of War game. Every kill you get earns you money (exp) which you can use to buy perks similar to Cod4's perks. The demo only allows 2 to be purchased, but I'm looking forward to the game.

I had the most kills and was on the winning team on the matches I played, I guess all those hours on Gears 2 are paying off on the PS3 ;)

I look at it as a faster paced Metal Gear Online, a game that was way to slow for me but this game is great, noticing the higher ranked players just throw nades and not much more.

If you've played Drake's Fortune on Crushing, avoiding nades should be second nature.

But I agree with the assesment, it's a lot of fun, and I'm not a guy who does a lot of multiplayer games.

I didnt even finish single player, i started to because i wanted a plat but it just got very very repetitive and i got bored.
