Has anyone else given this a go yet? I'm watching a few Foo Fighter videos at the mo - quality seems not bad, but it doesn't look like it's HD source, only upscaled by the PS3.

Positives:

Seems to be a fair amount of music to choose from
You can download videos (I assume they'll be tied to your PS3)
You can create and save playlists
Seems to be reasonably lag free

Negatives

The UI needs work - the search facility in particular is really poor. It's a series of up/down tumblers for each letter of the song / artist you're searching for
Adverts seem to pop-up every minute
Videos are in 4:3 not 16:9

Overall pretty decent, and you can't really complain for the cost: free :) Always the best price.

Well I downloaded it very quickly and installed it in no time. It took a while to load up though which I thought wasn't the best start. Then had to go through the updating of the music catalogue to further add insult to injury. The search feature is an absolute joke and takes way too long to load anything up. I didn't have a lag free experience either when I did look at a few videos. It took a couple of seconds to buffer up tidily but was faultless after that.

Totally agree with MartyG's comments about the UI. It could be designed to give better functionality to the user

Just looked at the 90's playlist and watched Shabba Ranks - Mr Loverman and was quite suprised to see semi naked people in it ha ha. Looks like somethings slip through the net it seems. Overall it decent for what it is free but it needs some work.

What is this? Some sort of free music video youtube type thing for the PS3?

I should be on Sony's payroll.

For a free service (which it has to really) I was impressed, till I exhausted all the favourite tracks. I agree with the comments. My experience was pretty flawless, apart from the slow loading at the start any video loaded within 1-2 seconds on a 20mb cable, though at my mates this evening it was alot slower to navigate around on his 10mb cable connection.

16:9 and a better/faster way to add to saved playlist would be nice. It will be interesting how up to date this is kept and if there will be any press releases or regular schedule when the place gets updated with new vids. With that said I doubt id be using it regularly.
