I've just got my laptop fixed and am wanted to save u and get an ipod touch, but before i get one; does anyone know of a good wireless router? Cheap and easy to setup preferably(and i don't need it for gaming).
If anyone has any info that would be great thanks, (Y).

Cable or ADSL? I have always been a fan of Netgear Routers the DG834 series is good value for many and you can pick them up dirt cheap.

Gotta agree with Bingo, Netgear's are the best wireless routers I've used, very reliable routers. Linksys have given me a lot of trouble in the past, with constant drops on my connection when using them wirelessly, and not forwarding ports correctly to the specified IP address etc.

Follow the 2 posts above; very Wise.
I have had a linksys and it was a pain in the ass, we gave it back...To much trouble.
And i've had 1 Netgear for a few years now, since Xbox Release (Y) :)
No trouble whatsoever :D

Make sure you get an N/N+ router, G and b just suck and are crap at streaming anything above BAD QUALITY movies/video...

I think I'm running on a Netgear; the one you get free from AOL (my FAVOURITE ISP :/). Don't have any trouble with the router. :) Safe bet.

Nice posts everyone, thanks for the info, I'll get a netgear one soon.

I think i might ring up our ISP and ask if they'll upgrade our netgear wired router to a wireless one, and if they don't I'll change ISP i think.
