PS3 Firmware Wish List

It has been a while since the last firmware rolled out (though there is one rumoured to be released fairly soon with duel account logins) and the last few haven't had many new or exciting features addressed in them. We'd like to run an article on the main site listing our wishes, both big and small, for upcoming firmware releases.

So, what would you like to see in future firmware updates on the PS3?

id like them to stop making firmware updates compusery it basicly shuts you out of your gaes and market place and it wouldnt matter so much if they wernt so big taking a while to download

I get cramp in my right thumb after around 30 mins of using the PS3 controller. Never have any probs with the 360 pad.

how about dumping the fat32 only hard drive setups and moving to the 21st centery

the memory set up is soo much better on ps3 though
transfer save games to any hdd device is easy to copy onto a computer so can share with mates
upgrade the hdd all together for more storage

compared to having to use memory cards to transfer 360 game saves

how do you get cramp holding the controller ??? i got pretty big hands and NEVER experienced it so either you have really big hands or holding controller incorrectly

How about being able to play a demo once its downloaded, you know, like the 360. I download 6 demos to then find I have to wait another 20 mins for the ----ers to install. What the hell is up with that?

its not that thats the problem its fat32 imiting file sizes for my videos so anything over a gig wont go on

Yeah only reading FAT32 is a pain...as if you have some HD content on a hard drive you have to split it due to the 4gb file limit.

I use TVersity to stream or copy large movies...works brilliantly...and the PS3 itself will store a HD files over 4gb when transferred over to it.

I'm another person who finds the controller awkward, it cramps my left thumb as the pad is too small.

For me they still need to get some of the basics sorted... Messaging is overly complicated... Private chats while gaming would be nice... Still seems 'fussy' just getting your friends into games...

Private chatting could be good especially if the games are about team work.You can share each others insight while on the game.I guess this is one on my wishlist.

Yea, On the PS3 controller My fingers slip off the back triggers! The analog stick mushrooms go downward, again for easy slippage.
