Long time since I've checked this forums, hope you're all doing well.

Question; I'm interested in a 5.1 sound system to use on my TV/PS3/360 and along with my IPOD. Anyone got any recommendations? £100 - £200.

Thanks.

Yamaha RXV363 (http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=YAMA-RXV363) or the Sony STRK880 (http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SONY-STRK880)

Both of those would be ideal with some bookshelf speakers a centre and sub.

Do they come with speakers? Doesn't look like it (I need the whole package).

You dont really want to buy an all in one system the quality of the speakers is never great. Its a shame to have a quality setup let down by pack in speakers.

Gonna rack up the price quite a bit though isn't it buying it all seperate?

Got any recommendations to go with the above? (speakers/sub).

- Edit, how'd you get your PS3 thingy to show?

You can get the speaker kit for the Yamaha (http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=YAMA-NSP110) for around £70.

I have a Yamaha centre speaker on my 7.1 setup.

What do you make of these two setups?

The Samsung one looks decent, I wouldnt be bothering with wireless, too many things can interfere with it in the home, and you would be having to change batteries regularly.

What size room is this going into?

A pretty small room which is why I preferred the pansonic one as it was smaller(comes with a dvd player.. wtf? lol).
