I have a Western Digital My Book World Edition NAS drive. You can connect to it from anywhere in the world and stream your files. It connects to your Router and you can either use the software it comes with or Map a drive letter to it and use it that way. Its pretty decent but the software can limit is usage which can be annoying.

When I get home I will update this as I was looking at new ones recently.

Just remember not to have anything that you value, like music or photos only stored in one place. Western Digital or Maxtor or LaCie can guarantee all they want, but if the disk dies and you lose 50Gig of music / photos / data then you're fooked. I have data in three different places : DVDs, an External HDD permamnently attached to the Mac, and a portable external that I carry around with me. You could also look into online backups if you want. Stuff like Amazon S3 are quite good.

I have several, including Western Digital, Maxtor & Buffalo, and so far I had no greater problems, only one of the Maxtor's died. I'm no big fan of external HDD, but I need them to make backups or transfer ROM collections, but I won't trust them blindly, I always have another backup around.
