Disappointed Keane has left Liverpool to go back to spurs but hey, what you gonna do.

Manchester City striker Jo on loan to Everton. I know David Moyes was interested in him when he used to play for CSKA Moscow but only scored 1 goal in the premiership since joining City. We do have a striker crisis but Tim Cahill has coped exceedingly well filling in, in the absence of a forward. Jury is still out on Jo but I'm not that optimistic that he will do a lot for us.

We were also linked with a loan move for Kevin Kuranyi who currently is playing for Schalke 04 in the german Bundesliga. A decent striker who I would have liked to see at the club.

Also this Arshavin saga over at Arsenal is getting ridiculous now. How many days have they had to tie a deal up and it still isn't finalised. He is a quality player but I feel sorry for gunners fans because they really have slipped down the pecking order in terms to the other big 3 premiership clubs and really need to make a good signing to bolster their squad to get into the champions league.

Robbie Keane has gone back to Spurs for a reported figure of around £12 million. So Liverpool paid £20 million and then lost £8 million selling him back to his former club after a dismal 6 months. He is a good player but never really got a fair crack of the whip from Benitez and got continually frozen out of games. I think most Spurs fans are happy to have him back though.

Chelsea I see have captured the loan signing of Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan. Quaresma has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho at Inter and consequently has been sent out on loan. Also out on loan from Inter to Fulham is Olivier Dacourt. Played well for Everton back in the day so good luck to him.
