EA to support PlayStation Home

In a recent press release EA have announced that they have initial plans for the PlayStation Home BETA. It looks like they are going to start of with an EA Sports Complex, although at the moment it is still in development.

Reports suggest that it will be available around Spring time 2009.

It doesn't give too much info away but at least we know that EA plan to support Home, for now anyway! What do you think?

I tried Home for about 3 mins, and then left forever. Its PS3 all over, just wants you to download stuff all the time.

I goto open Home, tells me I need to download it first. Ok, wait an hour, done. Create a not great character and Im off! Well not really Im in my room with nothing but a lamp and chair and when I try to leave it tells me I have to download some more stuff..... ---- off, Im leaving. Swith off PS3

Your experience is much the same as mine, with the added frustration of attempting to connect thrown into the mix. I power mine on looking to play a quick game and all it wants to do is download another update from something or other. Its annoying.

I can switch on my 360 and be online and in a game in under a minute.
