An update is on its way for PlayStation 3 users. The update (now v2.53) is only a small update but it will improve certain things.

According to the PlayStation Blog, they will be...

Improving the way the Flash Player works with the internet browser. In addition to being able to access more sites using Flash, you’ll be able to enjoy:

Full-screen mode playability

Live movie (using RTMP format) playability

So you should (when available) be able to enjoy your web experience a lot better. Share your thoughts below!

Everytime I switch mine on it wants to update something or other. Its not as if its like the 360 when you get a small update and its done in less than a minute.

Same here. I just wanted a quick go on Valkyria Chronicles only I had to wait another twenty minutes for it download.

I turned mine on last night to watch Iron Man on Bluray and it wanted an update, I thought feck that and opted for a game of SuperStarDustHD and even that wanted another 200 meg download. This is becoming a joke.
