You can see why people dont buy games straight away now...i still do, but im trying to stop honestly.

I paid £35 for this i think and havent even tackled it yet and its now half price.

I have a Freddie Mercury console but basically use it as an extended demo pod. If the game is good I still buy it. I never pay full price though. There are plenty of deals and discounts about so there is no need to pay full price.

As of tomorrow (4/12/08) Fallout 3 will be on offer at £19.98

Friday will see Saints Row 2 going down to £19.98 also, aswell as the new Sonic Unleashed title.

These prices are BEFORE UK tax changes.

COD5 will most probably be going into the same offer, the week before christmas (not official, but i'd bet a bollock on it)

ALL of the above information is official, because I have sat pricing all the ----ing stickers on the games all day.

Hope this is good news for UK gamers :)

I not likeing there 21 age identity thing I went to buy Resistance 2 today from gamestation guy seen me before and asks me for ID, so then I went to GAME they did the same, just think how much money games shop will lose out if they do this to everyone had no ID on me but I am 22.

In the end got Resistance 2 From HMV bit off topic but thought I would put that in the gamestation thread lol.

Its cool that so many good games are being sold 4 so much cheaper these days; Don't it just make you vex when you rush to get a game on release day or preorder only do see it 4 like £10 cheaper 2 weeks later, it makes me mad coz i've already got games i haven't touch yet or no where near completed ;(. I've basically pledge not to buy any more games untill about a month later but with Prince persia out tomorrow i may have to take that pledge and flush it into the thames lol. Ho btw, does anyone know if there will ever be a TestDrive 2?

No game are such idots i got asked for ID when all i wanted to do was trade-in UT08 or 03 (can't remember the name the one of the 360) It's like if i had it i'm obversely old enough to but it, which i was due to i'm 19 and it's an 18.

Supermarkets now have 'Think 25' generally. I get more embarrassed being ID'd in the supermarket than at the door to a club or at a bar and I'm not 20 yet. The repercussion's of selling to under-age though are too much and I guess some people look older than they are.

I was in gamestation earlier. They still had the Fable and Fallout deals on. New Sonic was £19.99 as well (cheaper on the Wii).

I had to laugh though they had Fable 2 brand new at £19.99 or you could buy pre-owned for £32.99. Fallout was similarly priced for a 2nd hand copy.
