Will there ever been a time where MS would be required to increase the amount of points for downloadable content in the US, but be unable to in the UK due to these "problems"??

Everyone does realise this is to coincide with their thanks giving black friday sales, right?
Hence we're not getting it, since its a US only thing.

Any way buying on a US profile wouldn't be much use since games would be tied to that account, themes you could use I suppose. But I'm not too sure about DLC.

All DLC can be used by any account on the Xbox that contains the license for that DLC.
