Anyone know how to get my Network Adaptor fixed

Got my 360 back earlier today and tried my Wireless Adaptor on it, it wont connect. I dont know if it was fried when my 360 RROD. It was working fine prior to the console breaking.

It gives a solid red block on the back and none of the 360's I own recognise it as plugged in so the network setting screen is greyout out.

It doesnt pass any tests on the dash :(

Cant find any info on who or where to send it on the official MS website and really cant be arsed speaking to some granny in India who wont understand what the problem is.

Any help will be appreciated.

yeah it's definately fried when u RROD'd.
i don't really know what to do, i got a replacement from GAME cos it was under the warranty still, but i don't think yours is, is it?

can u get a wireless adapter repaired? if not looks like you need to buy a new 1 :(

Try pluggin it into a PC to see if the PV recognises something as being there.

Never know. Asides from that I have no scoobie :(

Have you tried by reseting your network configurations? and then pop your details back into the 360 maybe worth trying that

I have tried all that m8, still nothing. I suppose I will need to call the Indian Granny at MS call centre for help. :(

I know thats one of the questions they will ask. I aint no noob ;)

I have tried all connections, on all machines. It gets power but wont register as a Network Adaptor any any of the 3 machines I own.

have you tryed removing the hard drove and all the cables

sounds well and truely fooked. oh and btw RBF - still cant get a copy of Left 4 Dead it must be a limited release as no supermarkets have it and others have sold out

looks like i will have to buy online which is a shame as i would like to play it right now. it must have been deemed a ltd release for now as there isnt many on my FL playing it and no shops have it. maybe they thought we'd better release only so many copies so its not sitting on the shelves as there's loads of new AAA releases now aswell that are

Not yet, I have called twice and the Network Adaptor is not on Indian Granny's script so they keep asking if I want my console repaired :( I have tried to explain the situation to them but it just confuses the feck out them.

I will try again at the weekend.
