While scouring the interweb I've come across this lovely chart which tells you how many GB's on your HDD you need to install certain games. Very handy for those of you with limited space.

I'm yet to use this feature but I'll probably do it for games like Rock Band 1 & 2. I got around 99 GB left on my HDD I think so space is of no concern yet.

I have heard - DO NOT INSTALL HALO3 onto your HDD.

Because of the way it copies the maps into a cache on the HDD the install actually slows the loading times instead of improving them.

ive put fallout 3 on my hard drive i highly recomend it as it makes the game load a hell of a lot faster and on that game theirs loading when ever you come to a door

Whilst load times are improved, its how quiet my XBox is when it's running games off the HDD that makes using the feature worthwhile.

like raised ive also put fallout3 on my hd and it makes it load so much smoother and faster.

I managed to nab the new 60gig Xbox Starter pack yesterday for £15 so now have more than enough space for a few games. I have TR, L4D, COD WaW and Gear 2 installed so far.
