If anyone needs convincing to get an Xbox, here are 2 : GoW2 and Fable 2. Others might add Halo3 to that list but it isn't my cup of tea really.

I'm SO glad that I got an Xbox, instead of splashing out for a PC to play some decent games (I'm a Mac user, so I'm pretty limited in my gaming choices on OSX).

The problem that I'm having ATM is choosing what to play : Fable2 or GoW2 or Far Cry 2 or CoD4 or Cod:WaW. Nightmare ;)

I hate GOW2.

I don't know what it is I hate, but it gets stronger by the second. Strange.

I was a bit Meh to begin with for GoW2 but I spent most of last Sunday playing and really enjoyed it. Only TopGear provided a bigger draw for me :)

Yeah, I wasnt all into GoW1,
so I doubt GoW2 will float me boat :|

Can't speak for Gears of War 2 (have to wait until Dec 25th)..
But Fable 2 and Fallout 3 are keeping me very entertained at the moment.

i love gears i think ill go back to it because codwaw is pissing me off

Me and my bf were taking it in turns to use the xbox. I was playing Mirror's Edge and he was playing CODWAW on veteran. He's getting really heaved off at some points. There is one point I was watching that just takes the piss because it's a small space and there is grenades everywhere.... it looks impossible lol. He gave up in the end lol.

I share his pain, theyy use the invisible walls as checkpoints, on some missions I just ran up the side of the maps to hit the invisible check point and all the enemy troops just disappeared.

GoW2 isn't that good.

The game is good, its the matchmaking that sucks hairy you-know-whats. Terrible. The dialogue alone cracks me up.

I got Cod:WaW and played it online all weekend - not done the solo bit yet, probably won't. I like it more than CoD4. The maps are great - well the ones for Team Deathmatch anyway, the weapons are good - love the molotovs, the tanks aren't invincible - as it should be.

Late last night, there were over 200,000 playing CoD:WaW on-line (according to the info in my lobby).
