I got a massive urge for this game after playing the demo again a few days ago so got it preordered from GAME. Literally can't wait, just love the concept.

Achievements look pretty slick too, not too hard, but still a challenge :) Just right.

Had a play this afternoon...seems pretty slick but has some moments that annoyed me where I couldn't get up somewhere and constantly fell on my arse. Will get better with practice though I'm sure.

Well, to me, the demo was very limiting which put me off it a bit. Though the brief bits where I could do what I wanted were EXTREMELY rewarding. But from looking at the trailers, this game has much more to offer than the demo accounts for.

I had the demo of this game sitting on my HD until yesterday i tried it; the game is sick! i went to my pc and pre-order it instantly, i think this game is gonna go down well this holidays. Got to give a big BIGUP to Dice; it would be interesting to know what kinda download content would follow later on if any, what ya all think? :)

It's not like you have to learn a set way to go, many missions can be done more thn one way. It's the choice making under pressure which will determine which path you take. I can see it being pretty intense on hard difficulty.

I love the way that a step's difference can make the change between just landing a gap and falling to your death, makes it keep the pressure burning.

Mercenaries WAS a let down, can't speak for Army of Two. Though I guess Skate was quite a marmite game.

Well I played it today.
Love it.
Doesn't quite have the same feel that I thought it would, the controls feel more laboured than I anticipated, but still a great game. Got about halfway through the story tonight so not gonna last long, but should keep me for 2 or 3 plays through.

Thing is though the EA games which do come out that are good, aren't actually EA games. DICE actually made this, EA just published. Gonna get this in the next few weeks, looks like it could be a good play through.

Games that are short, and have little replay value and little to no multiplayer, should be cheaper. It's kinda ridiculous.

This game is awesome seems bit short on Chapter 6 now in storymode trying to go through whole game without shooting 1 bullet.

What would of been good in this is say 4-4 online like a deathmatch on the buildings.

8.5 - 10 very well put together game gameplay good visuals good time trials fun.

Only let down mainly is the length of the single player.

Got the achievement for not shooting anyone either - Test of Faith.

To clarify: For this achievement you are allowed to fire off guns, in fact you MUST use a gun at at least one, possibly two (though there is away around the second;)) points throughout the story. You can shoot the guns as much as you want, just don't hit anyone.

The story was quality, though to me, the ending came a bit suddenly - seems to be a common factor amongst the past 3 new games i've played - Fable II, Gears 2 and Mirror's Edge all have abrupt endings. Was quite short, but if you find it easy enough to blast through too quickly then you should be playing on a higher difficulty.

Still have to find the bags and the time trials are gonna be right little buggers to get. :P

Nah, completely worth the money Imo.

Finished it tonight on Hard - that's two runthroughs it's given me there. Still need to find all the bags which is another few hours.
After that I'm gonna be spamming the sppedruns and time trials for ages so pretty much tons of hidden gameplay. When considering the length of a game you have to think about things other than just the story, while It doesn't technically have LIVE multiplayer, you can find your mate you wanna race against ten race against his ghost.

Well i got it from Game with a nice little discount so it feels better knowing i didn't pay the full amount especially when i've read its better to rent it first. To be honest i haven't played too much since i've had it, i'm still contemplating if story mode was the right one to start with being that its a bit tricky to do a sexy run through with momentum if you know what i mean; Btw, racing against people ghost on your friends list seems cool i like the sound of that.

I got it with a discount - I had a £10 voucher and £10 reward points so got it for £20. WITH A T-SHIRT! Aha. I would have paid full retail for it though, I enjoyed and am still enjoying it immensely. The time trials and speed runs will take tonnes of practice, but I am going for the 1000 on this one :)

I played the demo and thought it was good. Although I only played it once I completed the demo. I might buy this a little later down the line but at the moment I've got way too many games to play and not enough time until I'm off (2 weeks) for christmas on the 23rd.

You have to play it right to get the feel. If you try going through without using weapons, the game is much better. I did that first time on normal and had a real good challenge, I did it again with weapons on hard and it was very easy, but i didn't get the same satisfaction from it.

ive been playing it through tryin not to use guns and im up to a hard bit at the start of the boat level.

I kinda like it, sometimes i wish it was 3rd person though.

Ah, At the start of the boat level, you just have to keep trying to take out the guys, just use the same combo on every guy:

Slide kick, high punch, low punch, high punch/ do a little run and slide kick. That got me through the whole game with minimum effort. The boat fights were the hardest for me without weps in the whole game, so after that - plain sailing.

Just been reading a blog (http://www.oxm.co.uk/article.php?id=7310) about how good Mirror's Edge would be if it wasn't for the combat. I agree to some extent.
