I just got my first xbox 360 folks, now problem is i would like to connect it to my HD tv but that would entail me getting a cable 10 meters long to reach it from my computer desk where the xbox is situated, can this be done, would i need only an ordinery HDMI cable that length or do i need somat else.

xbox is where it is as i play it on my monitor most of the time as the missus has the telly :'( .

but weekends :geek: :fps:

i can buy a 10 meter hd lead gold plated but it has no other bits and bobs like the leads in the box thaty plug into the telly and i think they are needed, put me wright on this one please ??

10 Meter HDMI cable would work, but at that length you may suffer signal degradation.

Nope unless you are using a breakout for a different audio connection you should be fine.

Should be fine with the 10m HDMI cable. I run a 10m DVI-HDMI cable from my PC to TV and it appears fine.

Do you have a wireless controller? Have you tested it 10m from the Xbox? I'd personally get a 10m ethernet cable instead of the HDMI.
