Let's not bother making a new thread each time someone get's it, because it happens all the time and it's not really dramatic anymore. So if you have experienced this tragic turn of events, why not post here instead. You can all cry and masturbate in one place (Y)

To be honest, the RROD happens to everyone. If you go 3 years without getting it, you don't play enough and if we all made threads, we'd have to dedicate a forum to it.

I feel for those without a working 360 at this time with all the great games. We will offer support and a dedicated thread is a good start.

I've never had it, and I've had mine since launch, and I play plenty ;)

Well my HDMI one that I bought last year has an intermittent RROD problem, I am gonna have to send it off :(

This will be my 1st of 6 that has to go to MS.

I have three in the house just now, I share one of those with my Bro and that is hooked up downstairs. The other two are in the games room.

The other 3 have have been bought and sold over the years, mainly to family members and none of them have ever had RROD or other failures.

I just booked the HDMI one in for repair last night, the intermittent RROD is happing every day. May as well send it off to be fixed sooner rather than later. I still have two to play on so wont be missing out on any gaming whilst its gone.

Mines was picked up by UPS yesterday and is winging its way to the Germany. I never spoke to anyone from MS, I just registered the fault on the MS website and they sent the label within an hour. So far so good, will see how long it takes to get it back to me.

Its on its way back and should be delivered tomorrow :) So what do you think I will get

More than likely you will get a refurbishment console. I had my console back from MS yesterday and they gave me a refurbishment one. I thought yay I'll have the one with a hdmi input but sadly that wasn't the case even though the date of manufacture on the console was just 22nd September 2008. Thought they did them all with hdmi now the newer models? Oh well I can't grumble as it was fixed for free and it keeps the missus entertained for hours.

Anyways its came back today. Its my console that I shipped off, needed a new Mobo, cheeky feckers have also replaced the DVD drive to a Liteon one.

Our launch console gave up the ghost earlier, not RROD its a video problem. Looks like an Xbox Arcade is getting bought tomorrow.

I registered mine and it says my warranty expires at the end of 2009.

My 360 bit the dust last year on my birthday!! Needless to say I wasn't amused :'(:o I now have a 60gig and it's great!
