Well, my trusty 2nd Xbox has failed me. Got the RROD on the launch of Fallout 3 and with both Gears of War 2, and the New Xbox Experience on the horizen its fairly obvious im pissed off lol. but my Xbox seems to be fine...

... After clicking the power button numerous times in frustration, i left it on and realised that it works. Why show the RROD if the Xbox is running normally as shown. Some of you on my friends list will have seen me on FIFA09 this morning which is proof of it working, but just wondering if any of you out there knew anything about how to fix this 'broken' Xbox. It obviously works, so why sho the RROD every so often?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Temmy.

Well, seems to be working fine now, which is beyond weird. Just have to pray now i guess.

If you still have the recipt I would take it to where you bought it and ask for an exchange thats if it is less than a year old.

If you got the RROD once it may happen again.

Dont send it to microsoft they will just send you a ----ed up machine

Same thing happened to me a while back, i turned it off, then turned it on and it worked fine.
Now my 360 is messed up, and is due to get shipped to Ms in the near future

It happens, sometimes the motherboard is upset, and gives the wrong message lol!

What next? Throw it out of the window and get a PS3 o-O

If the plug is loose out of the socket it gives you RROD, so maybe your plug was slightly loose?

Trust us, at some point that console will explode.

I know, but id rather grab as much life out of it as possible. So WTF should i do, obv. its not broken if it works occasionally?
