I don't believe it!
It's never happened before, no RROD, not anything.
But i get the error message, that in the internet is referred to as the "Death Error"... Just my luck eh?

I don't need tips on how to fix it though. I've been reading up for about 2 hours and it turns out that I'm gonna have to get the cupid stunt repaired.
Lucky i still have my warranty *fist pump*

Unlucky, one of mine has been RROD intermittently for a few secs then been fine. I have two others to play on though if it needs to go get fixed.

This isn't actually RROD, it's only the bottom right light that flashed, which worried me a hell of a lot at the beginning, seeing as i never heard of it happening before, EVER.

I'm hopefully gonna get my hands on another 360 next year, probably a core, nothing fancy. Just use it for when the other one messes, and if the online is in use (Stupid family).

You can get an Arcade with Fable2, Fifa09 or PES2009 for around £130 which is a bargain.

Bottom lower right is usually the worst error. Hardware failure typically GPU or the scaler chip....that's what mine had.

If it's under retail warranty get it swapped at the store, if not send back to Ms turn around is quick...8 days for me.

when mine first bost (note first), that's what happened to mine. Playing PGR3, all of a sudden, bang, chequered screen, freeze up, grinding noise, one red light. Kablam, xbox gone.

Good news, i'm gonna be sending the 360 of to Microsoft soon, then just a matter of time before i get it back.

Last time I sent mine off, it was gone and back in 10 days.

Hopefully you're as lucky as I was.

You guys must have got lucky. I recently just got my Xbox 360 back - exactly two weeks after sending it off. Thankfully it came back today as Guitar Hero an Gears 2 are arriving on Thursday.

Or do the trick to get two xbox's ;)

Register the faulty one on the MS site, then take it back to the shop and get a replacement. As you have registered it in your name, when the shop gets it repaired by MS it comes back to you :)

I can't be arsed with all that hassle! :)

I sincerely hope i am as lucky as WolvesPat and mjmaskrey, i'm getting the shakes already, and i've not actually sent it off yet! It's so horrible lol, the 360 is actually infront of me, taunting me...

Wooooooo, got the bugger fixed!
Took it to GAME cos' i rang up in the morning, turns out i didn't need to show them a receipt or out to prove i had a warranty!
New 360, new Wireless Adapter, all for free.

And Bingo, looks like i might well be able to do that trick for 2 consoles after all!
