hi my mum wont let me on anything over my age i am 15 so i am allowed to go on games such as assassins creed and halo 3 but i am not allowed to play on games such as call of duty 4 or any other games over a 15 :'( as you probbably know there are 2 different game rating services and call of duty isnt any more violent than halo does any one agree with this or have any tips thank you :)

See if you'd be allowed if you turned off blood settings etc. Most games have options to tone down the violence.

CoD4 id different to Halo as it's a real world setting so the violence has more impact on impressionable youngsters.

call of duty is more violent than Halo im afraid. as MJ says, the real world setting makes it more realistic and gives it more impact.
A game like Crackdown lets you skewer people to cars with harpoons but i doubt its an 18 coz of the look of it isnt realistic, more like a cartoon.

Wait a sec, Asssassins Creed is more violent than Call of Duty, and teaches impressionable youngsters more ways to use knives!!

I hate parents like that...
Only stupid inbred, numb in the mind kids pick up a weapon and go and kill someone after seeing it on a game (or film).

Say to your parent, something along the lines of
"Do you really think this will have an impression on me? I'm not stupid, i'm not gonna end up killing people from playing a computer game".

The case is my best friend in real life so I have to put up with only playing 15 games at his house, ROFL. I am 13 and I'm allowed to play gta 4 because my mum knows I'm sensible and wouldn't do things off a game. Also I very much doubt that The case would either!
