Hey Guys,

This is just a passing question, unfortunately my 360 has finally given up on me, after 2 and a half years of solid service.

I'm just wondering where I go from here? I've tried the towel trick, it enabled me to watch 1 and a half movies, but now its packed up again. What details do I need for Microsoft to fix it, and all that jazz.

I reallly hope I can get a working 360 for the release of the Dashboard Update next month, otherwise I shall be peshedddd. Plus I don't even have my PS3 either at the moment.. boooo.

Any info on what to do next, would be greatly appreciated.

Call Xbox support first thing tomorrow (lines are closed now) on 0800 587 1102

They will send you a UPS label via email within 20-30 minutes, as soon as you get that label phone UPS and they could pick it up the very same day, if not they'll get it Tuesday guaranteed.

You need to box up the Xbox (in a normal box, the 360 box will not do), print off the UPS label and stick it on the box. Fairly simple process and there shouldn't be any problems.

Mine got shipped off on the 15th of this month, the repair center in Germany recieved it on the 17th and it has since been shipped back. I'm expecting to receive it tomorrow, maybe Tuesday.

Alright guyyyyys.

Well I know this is an old thread, but I ended up fixing my 360 myself, and everything was fine up until today.

The deadly RROD has scorn my 360 once again, and I can't see any reason to try and fix it or buy a new one. I barely play anymore, so I think I can make do with my PS3 for now. Kinda lame still... had that 360 for almost 3 years. Ah well.

Basically I just need to know how to cancel my Xbox Live account without the use of the 360 itself (obviously). Never done it before so... any help would be awesome guys.

Cheers in advance.

P.S. Hope everyone's doing good, haven't been here in a while!

I believe the only way to do it is to call Microsoft Support.
Everything on the XBox.com web site is geared towards you signing up for LIVE, not for leaving. I cannot even see how to remove a credit card from the account. (I plan to renew my subs via a pre-paid card this year, that's why I was looking).
Shame about your Xbox, mate..
