H3 Film Clip Comp: Best Stick

Bonjour, and welcome to the first edition of the Halo 3 Film Clip Comp. As you can see it's all about your best stick.

Your clip must be a grenade stick with either a plasma grenade or spike grenade, and you must receive the grenade stick medal. The clip must contain one single stick, no multi kills or multiple sticks without a multikill medal. ONE STICK ONLY :)

How to:

1. Edit your game film so it contains just the part where you got the stick.
2. Stick it on your fileshare and call it something we'll recognise e.g CM comp stick.
3. Post a link to your bungie.net fileshare in your first post and i'll stick it in my first post
4. If you don't have a b.net account then post saying you want to be added to the submissions list and anyone who wants to vote will add you and go on your fileshare directly from their xbox.
5. One clip per person please.
6. If you get a better clip during the time submissions are open, you can change it, just post again with the new link.

That's pretty much all you have to do to submit but there's a few other things i want people to abide by.

1. Legit clips - NO STAGING, if i find you out, you'll be banned from future comps.
2. Submissions and voting are open for however long i choose they are, expect them to just close unexpectedly. To avoid disappointment get your clips submitted early.
3. The voting system will be explained when submissions close
4. Everyone who wants to vote must view all the clips.
5. You don't have to submit a clip to view and vote, just make sure you do actually view ALL of the clips.
6. I don't mind a bit of competitive banter in the thread, just don't go too far (Glitch, Snowy and Fleeboi)

Awwww, I was going to post about 50 of them :(

Well I cancel my earlier posts and am going to find a good one :D

And the reason it wasn't viewing the movie straight away was because I had a mate in the lobby with me and clips take forever to play with another guy in the party. All fixed now though :)

Bungie need to sort that ---- and the amount of lag you get when there's 3+ people watching the vid. It's pointless, now if we want to watch a gameplay or anything we all go to our own lobby and get on private chats. It's quicker, and we get to actually watch it faster than having to wait 4-5 minutes to watch a 10 second clip.

Oh okay, well if they're working for everyone else that's cool. I've viewed Fleeboi's and Wriggy's. Both so similar it was weird haha. Don't forget though Wriggy, no multikills, but i don't mind yours because you can just count the stick. Anyone viewed mine yet? I'm so proud of it haha :D

1) If you'd read all the rules you would see that you CAN change your entry as long as it's before submission ends.
2) Why do i have to be active to run this? No one has submitted, but also I check this thread EVERY DAY, in work, i just can't log in on my phone for some reason to post. It makes no difference if i'm not logged in for two days, because everyone else can still view the clips. All i'll do when i do log in, is update the first post. We'll talk about this on msn, but i think your statement's a bit silly.

Is this on a one month account? Just checking coz somebody could cheat using this gamevee i suppose. As long as any videos submitted have proof of who the player is (leaving which players PoV on the HUD) then you can use gamevee all you like, either or i'm not bothered.

Oh and just to let everyone know, next comp will be sniper related in some way.

Right, you might want to reshuffle the first post a bit then, I glanced at the rule section and didn't see it, turned out it was in the How To section.

And about the active thing, meh. It was more or less an excuse to run the next one. I guess I'll hold out for 818tv before I run a competition. If you need a hand with anything though, you know where I am.

BTW you seem to be taking things way too seriously lately. Remember, this is internet.

Yeh Captain OMFG is my second account, DVX gets a kill at the same time as my stick shows up, he's in the game playing with me, he'll clarify :D . . .

Infact that game was quite funny, we got matched against a bunch of level 50 boosters. At the start of the game DVX was raping the ---- out of them and Cursed and I were like 5 for 1, D went down to red bar for the rest of the game and hid in the tunnel (after 4 minutes of play) and We ended up winning soemthing like 50 - 33 :p

FFS, after sending my xbox away because of the stupid disc read errors, it's still happening on the new xbox.

So all together I've got my Halo disc re-buffed by Blockbusters, swapped the disc, bought a new disc and sent the xbox away and got a different one. So it definitely seems to be a faulty HDD.

Are custom games allowed?

I noticed yours Jam Man was done in a custom game, so how would it be possible to know if the clip was staged?

I'm not saying it was, I haven't even seen it yet, I was just checking out the "Lights" pic which was sweet btw and saw the custom gametype.

It's pretty easy to tell a stage, but if it's expertly done well that's gotta suck. We'll just have to trust everyone not to be a prat and hope they don't stage.

Oh and yeah, customs are allowed, you'd be pretty gutted to get an amazing stick and me not letting you put it in because it's a custom (y)

And also boyo, when the winner's announced for this one you can start the next one, hopefully i'll talk to you on msn about it. Though there isn't much to talk about i suppose, simple enough :)
