Simply because it is widely used does not make it any less offensive, people in the South can say n-word all they want, it doesn't stop being a bigot term.

I use the word "Fag" quite a bit. I have gay friends, they don't seem to mind; I use it in front of them and my other friends but I don't go around saying it in front of people I don't know or other gay people because they may find it offensive.

I'm quite openly racist (in jest) whilst with my black and Asian friends as well but again, I would never use the words in front of someone that would find it offensive, neither would I use it on a person from another culture that I don't know, If he's fine with it I may use the words if he's not, I respect his opinion and don't use them. . .

I cause no harm nor do I offend anyone.
