Thanks for the tip you quirky Microsoft folks! (Y)

No plastic casing, no metal chasis.. Just the motherboard, with everything plugged in, and slight leverage so that I can plug the HDD in.. ;)

lol - I have seen the totally clear shells but that takes the biscuit.

I have not had any problems with ventilation on any of the 360's that I have owned, all have been stood on end with nothing within 6 inch's of them.

Out of my friends only one has had the RROD and that was probably because they had it jammed betwen an amp and a Sky+ box.
