Motorstorm 2: Pacific Drift

Couldn't find a thread on this. Noticed yesterday there's a demo on the PSN. I never played the first Motorstorm, but I didn't really find myself being entertained by this demo at all. There's only one track, which is just a boring dirt track with a few jumps scattered around.

I didnt know there was a demo for this, might need to switch my PS3 on then and give it a go. I liked the original and the sequal got a 7 in Edge this month.

well i really enjoyed the demo tbh but evey1 has different opinions! although your gripe that theres only one track..... well its a demo so what were you expecting the whole game?

Another one disappointed with the demo. Not in terms of tracks etc. I was expecting more from it visually. The gameplay was there from the first one and I was expecting much the same but much richer visually and effects with maybe more modes thrown in. But from what i've seen so far, to me, it just looks a little half arsed to me. Maybe the level they used in the demo wasn't the best track to show off any unique effects and features in this game, such as the lava one or one of the tracks that has water in should have been used.

If it was out of this or Pure, i'm swinging more towards Pure going by what ive seen in the demo so far. :( Even though it only has bikes Pure feels much more solid and intense as a racing game of this kind should than I got from this Motorstorm demo. Visually, Pure seemed to nail it too for me.

Of course not, but I do expect some meat from it. Many racing demos come with two or even three tracks.

Pure is a great game and well worth anyones money of they enjoy racing games.
