Mad Catz NFL Faceplates

Anybody like this?? They released 8 NFL trademarked faceplates which look pretty good. I haven't jumped in into this whole faceplate buzz, but it sounds like a great idea if they are incorporating professional football teams into the mix. I as a die hard Philadelphia Eagle fan might think about drop a 20 for the Eagle faceplate. Looks really nice, but I think it would be cheesy. Any thoughts on the faceplates and should or should I not buy the Eagles plate?

Never seen any NFL plates but they don't cost alot so go for it......if it looks a bit corny or you get bored of it you haven't lost much or just Ebay it.

At the very least, it's an extra faceplate you can attach a skin to. I'm thinking about picking up a woody or a silver at my Best Buy, just so I can have something to put a better-looking skin on.

It's a bit juvenile but calling the faceplate 'woody' makes me grin whenever I see it!

Yeah they aren't bad looking at all, they look pretty good. I wish though there was a way you could change the Ring of Light colors so I can make the Xbox green lights turn into a Philly Eagles green, that would be nice. I saw something where this guy was selling 8 color sets of Xbox 360 Wireless controllers and they did not look half bad.

Yeah it looks really good. I just purchased mine. I will take pictures for you guys once I get it in on my 360 and show you how it looks. Im really excited :)

I think they are just doing top NFL teams in popularity. The Saints are a very popular team (or well they have become one) it is just that they play so bad, we wonder how do Saints fans continue to root for them constantly. Lol. My Sister is a Saints fan and she has almost given up entirley. But I expect them to make a faceplate for every team soon, depends on how much of success these 8 faceplates are.

yeah I know that they play like crap but it's a hometown thing. Maybe Vince Young or Matt Leinart will be the boost they need to get somewhere. Your sister has good taste, lol.
