Hexic XD - Survival Mode

So what is it with this mode, how do you survive? I've sat here for 30 minutes and I've gotten to Level 17 and I'm starting to feel like a plum. Surely I don't have to get rid of every hexagon on the grid do I, surely not?

Survival is a bit pants...you just have to survive for 50 levels...which is really easy, even my missus can walk it.

Don't give up on Hexic though...Marathon Mode is quality!

Yeah survival is pants! lol might be boring but it can be funny! And think of the achuievments! It's timed mode which i really struggle on!

Despite your efforts to try persuade me to replay the game I really do think I'll stick to Tony Hawk's and Perfect Dark Zero. Sure maybe if I am proper bored one day I will give the game a go again but until then I will stay out of Xbox Live arcade.

PERSEVERENCE is they key when playing HEXIC. I had 120 000 summit and needed to put 5 stones together to get eough for the high score as I wasnt getting a sixth so as I was moving them I got a 5 TIMER BOMB and then

BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Ah well I just need to keep trying and always remember

All you need to do in timed is create 1 black pearl...you get 30,000 for the pearl plus all a bunch of 5,000's for creating the stars to make the pearl with and that's almost your 75,000 right there....it's easy...very easy!!

Ah, might actaully try that MJ. I am just learning now how to get StarFlowers lol (im a biginner on it, leave me alone :p), got 6 last night, but couldn't get them together for a black peal, will try on timed though, sure it will come soon.

Nah it isnt lol. I'm just going to try get some achievements out of it for my Gamercard and that will be it, I played it last night and I created some flower or something which gave me 10 points.

But yeah I don't see how people can play it for hours and hours, too boring and repetitive.

Too wrapped up in my other arcade games for Hexic right now, though, so those black pearls will have to wait.

So what can I say, I started playing the game again :$. Not having access to Xbox Live for a week forced me to play the game as I was sick of playing Tony Hawk's and Perfect Dark Zero offline non stop.

It was a bit of fun, managed to get some achievments out of it which is great and now I am aiming for the 1,000,000 points achievement which will take me a while. It's not great but it has served a hour of two of gameplay from me. :)

I still need 4 of the achievements, and I've got a feeling I'm never going to get them. :(

I find black pearls so difficult to get, and two of my remaining achievements involve getting loads of them. Bah.
