Resident Evil 4 was a superb game, so I'm hoping for a lot from this.

Let's just hope it's not going to take another 3 or 4 years to make. :D

I love resident evil games. RESI EVIL 4 must be one of the best games Ive played and I wil DEFINETLY be getting this one.

The makers of this game ( Capcom ) have announced that this game won't be coming out for a very long time theres going to be a long wait for the 360 version then..

Yup, just as I expected. :(

Resident Evil 4 was in development for about 4 or 5 years, and obviously it's not going to take that long to make, but I'm guessing at least early 2008.

I was never a big fan of the Resident Evil games but I did enjoy Resident Evil 2 so I might consider it.

You probably would have enjoyed Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube as well. Best game of 2005 for me and many other people, although that was also down to their not being many big titles released over the course of the year.

But yeah, still a top class game, it was, and I'm expecting even better things from Resi 5.

Res 4 was the one behind the shoulder view and you aimed with the red laser? if so that was bad, the ones before were alot better.

The only one I have enjoyed so far has been RE:Codename Veronica for the Dreamcast. My bro's both love the series though.

resident evil is my fav franchise i must admit! got an original ps one for resi 1, then out came 2 and 3, then bought a ps2 for code veronica, then came outbreaks, bought a gamecube for the remake and zero and then resi 4 and a nintendo ds for resi evil deadly silence, so my console purchasing has been dictated by the resident evil franchise!

Resident evil is a one of a kind game with REALISTIC dead folks. Actualy fear can be felt playing them games and Resident evil 4 had alot more action than the rest,

And the story lines are so compelling. I had the original resident evil on the Sega Saturn (retro):arcade:

Resident evil games for me have allways been great, esp 4, which imo was without a doubt the best in the series, and probably the game of the year for me, i was quite surprised how much better they had made it. but personally i cant wait for 5, it looks great, and again like 4 looks like they have changed the scenery which should make for a different experience again :)

unless they sort that dang jerky camnera thing out ui wont get it. Annoyed the hell out of me on other RE games where the camera jumps from one spot to another.

You obviously didn't play RE4 then? The camera is now over the shoulder and I would be incredibly surprised if RE5 isn't as well.

nah, i didnt as it was Gamecube only was it? I never saw it. Might give this one a look. I loved the other, especially nemesis, despite the camera.

No it came out on the PS2, isn't this the one where you aim with the red laser? I don't like that, the camera is too close and the aiming was slow.

camera is like on gears of war 3rd person, then over the shoulder when you aim

Resident Evil..Excellent..but who the heck keeps harking on about Dead rising being a success ? Ok in terms of sales, yeah..but in terms of how many people got bored of it, realised there was better stuff out there, how popular is it now?

I hated it, it played and looked like a good PS2 game.
Nothing special about it apart from the concept.

Perhaps one of three overated games since the 360 came out...the other two are Just Cause and Saints Row...what is up with people buying last gen games all the time..we want THIS gen games....and you know what, I bet GTA gets the last gen treatment too when it comes out..the prostitutes will still look like they are walking with a disease between their legs. (I love the GTA franchise buy the way)

Obviously you quit (after taing 10 photos of survivors)because it was hard and you couldnt do it!! You should have stuck at it!
I assume you think that gears of war looks like a "good" ps2 game too!?!
