OK so every once in a while 360Monster and its community get together and have match.

Everyone is welcome as long as you are a member of the forums. It's a great chance to meet with some of are members and we always have a killer time. You don't need to be good, you just need an understanding of the game.

If you want to grab some mates round and have them join in on the same console we don't have a problem with that. As long as you are polite and play fair it should end up as a great game.

Fail to go by this rule and expect our members to hunt you down ;)

Post you PDZ ideas and what have you here. So maps, gametypes and anyother information you wish to add.

Once you guys and gals have a date set give me a PM and I will edit this first post so that others can see it. You must PM me. I won't read these threads if I don't own the game.

Never played Onslaught, what is it?? I even had to ask how to do Infection the toher night hahaha, neevr played Dark: Ops before though. :unsure:

Had some quality games of Terretorial Gains last night - maybe we can fit a 1st to 20 match of that in. :)

Onslaught is basically two teams, taking it in turns to attack each other's bases.

The defending team starts off with a set amount of money (I'll make this 15,000cr) to purchase weapons with, and the attacking team has a standard weapon (I'll make this is a CMP150). The attackers have to kill all the defenders within a certain time (for us, 10 minutes) to win. The attackers respawn if they are killed, but defenders are eliminated once they are killed. They can be revived, though.

After each member of the defending team has been killed, or the round expires, the teams switch sides. The amount of kills you get gains you credits as well, so you can buy better weapons on defense.

This mode only works when there are more than 8 people, though, because 4 on 4 is probably the minimum number for it to work properly. Looks like we'll be able to get a good game going, though.


Also, although I did end up missing last week, I didn't definitely say I'd make it, due to it being a Saturday. There's always shizzle going on in the house of AJ on Saturdays, which is why I can only confirm my playing on a Sunday. :D

There's that, Onslaught on Urban, Team Killcount on Desert, Killcount on Subway and Infection on somewhere.

Maybe infection on the Temple or Tower, so that we cover all the levels?

Infection works quite well in tower and I also hate temple because I always get lost in it :p

Temple seems to get laggy when I play it so Tower for Infection.

Ok, I'm not really a fan of the Tower myself (never really bothered to play in it), but the Temple is like a bloody maze, so I think we'll give it a miss.

urban and desert can be pretty good for infection aswell but if you want to rotate maps then tower is probrably best

Well, Eradication is fairly similar to Onslaught, so I didn't think we should have two types which are pretty much the same.

Infection... well, it's been suggested, but seeing as I don't really like it, I have other things down as priorities. :)

Be warned in advance, though, I have slight connection problems, and you might end up getting shunted onto a new host if my connection boots me off. If this happens, someone without a mic could possibly end up hosting, as the game seems to pick someone at random. So if this is you, you'd better be listening carefully so that you can hear the instructions for the next match. :D

Well, people playing PGR3 will take away people who would normally play PDZ. Plus, without proper organisation beforehand, we'll get maximum of 5 or 6 on PDZ, which just isn't enough - I need to contact everyone in the usergroup/people who have played before well in advance.

If PGR3 falls through tonight, and there are some people willing to play PDZ, then I'm more than happy to play, though.

There's people joining and leaving half way through games all the time and stuff, and people will forget to total them half the time.

Too complicated right now when we're only in it for laughs, and we'd also miss out on other games (Darkops and stuff). :)

on the other PDZ sunday match thread was posted some connection speed, I have 3mb but it's up to 20mb!!!! on a few days for the same price around £40.
a small company phoned me last week asking if i wanted 2,5mb for a low price and i said only if it for free then he asked me if i wanted a promotional price for ADSL2, and that was exactly what i'm paying now with the main company here in norway.
So if theres any host problems i'll free to help.

Damn, I forgot about the match types due to being at the Scotland game. Only just got back about 10 minutes ago.

- Team Killcount on Desert (Bases 3+4), with my Custom weapon set.
- Onslaught on Urban, with 15,000 starting credits, and 10 rounds.
- Killcount on Subway, with Oddballs weapon set.
- Infection on [level to be determined, weapon set to be determined]
- Territorial Gains on [level to be determined, weapon set to be determined]

As I don't play either of the last two modes very often, I don't know what levels and weapon sets are best for each of them. Anyone help me out here?

Dont think weapon set matters too much for infection but urban is a great map for infection, just depends how many people we have which might need you to have bases on or not.

I was just wondering, because I don't know if maybe we should try and vary the levels... ie, not having two different game modes in the same place.

Ideally Territorial Gains would be on the same level as Team Killcount, but I want to get a little mix rather than just doing the same levels over and over.

So, err, are either of them good on the Temple, Tower or Old Town?
(If not, we'll just go for duplicate levels - better duplicating levels than having a crap game)

Before next sunday get a discussion going as to what game types and levels you all want to play.

For 8-16 people I like:

Onslaught - Tower, Subway, Urban
Infection - any level at small to medium size
Eradication - any level at small - medium size
Team Killcount - Desert with Snipers, Subway with SMG's, Urban with Laptops & Snipers, Old Town with Shotguns. No Temple EVER!

LMAO - AJ! When we were playing earlier on Subway in a Killcount. I just entered the game, and AJ was walking it, I went up to him as soon as I started it and fired 1 bullet, BANG! Headshot. :p. Then, basically as soon as he respawned, I saw him, 1 bullet again, straight in the temple, another headshot. Exactly the same happened again, like 30 seconds later.
