Never played Saints Row, never wanted to. Never watched Saints Row 2 Trailers, never wanted to. Never thought of buying the sequel, never wanted to...

I thought the trailer was a fantastic way to gain some attention. I loved the original even more so than the GTA games of old, and can't wait to play the sequel!

I think that the Saints Row stuff is being promoted very cleverly. Clearly there's a high competitive wall between that and GTA4, but they've done a blinder marketting the way they have so far.

I've found the trailers to be hilarious - and if you can't directly compete you may as well have a little fun with it. On the strength of the trailers I'm willing to give the game a go - there was an analyst who commented on this particular trailer as saying it was "pompus" ( http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/saint-s-row-2-trailer-is-pompous-says-analyst ) - clearly a guy who lacks a sense of humour.
