project make my 360 a lot quieter

now i know it doesnt bother some people but to me its like having a hoover humming away in your lug while playing.

i have the benq drive and falcon chipset on my newist 360 birthday is 17/09/07 i was wondering could i replace the fans inside im going to put some pc vibration mats in their to dampen the dvd drive some

im might just stick the ----er ina cubard but i worred incase it over heats

You'll void the warranty then though. I have mine next to my subwoofer and it does get a little hot but it's never broke down on me yet. If it really gets to you then I don't know what to suggest really :confused::unsure:

I keep thinking about buying one and swapping the fans out but seeing as my 360 is pretty solid I don't want to upset it.

Also don't put the sound dampener mats in as they do increase temps for only marginal sound reduction....not worth it and will ---- your 360 up!

I used that for my previous RROD's 360. It made it quieter but it didn't prevent the Red Ring of Death returning. :(
