Well it's released here in the UK on friday 6th June and I have it on pre-order. Anyone else getting it? There is a demo available for download on the xbox live marketplace. My first impressions were good (button bashing yay!) even if the camera will eventually play on my nerves and have me cursing like a trooper. Seems a nice little touch with the addition of auto healing. Never really played any of the full Ninja Gaiden games before either (only demo's) so I'm not sure what to expect. Completed the demo on my first attempt and I found it a little easy (it was probably supposed to be). I've heard that the game is stupidly hard at times but then again I'm sure it depends on what difficulty level you select.

The main inspiration behind the game has left Tecmo and is now suing them over bonuses he never received for Dead or Alive 4.

Microsoft look to be courting him about leading one of their Development teams.

i liked it but its a bit too much like Devil May Cry for me to buy it. I bought DMC and it was a mistake, i should have rented it.

The original was solid. It was an 'alright' game but I never saw the massive appeal. I never did complete it due to the difficulty!

I thought it reminded me of DMC as well. Hack n slash action is my forte though usually. Well I might have it by tomorrow but I'll leave my thoughts on the game when I can.

i liked the demo, except for the camera - oh my god its rubbish. I did some auto 15 hit combo and the camera finished up inside a wall and the whole screen was brown, i had to sort it out manualy.

The gore and finishing moves are pretty cool though and i love they way he shakes the blood off his weapons after a few seconds.

This game is rock solid. I'm only playing on acolyte as well (easy). Camera is annoying but not so annoying that it puts me off from playing it. Some cool kills and weapons so far.

ive rented it for a week and ive played the first 3 levels. I really like it actually, much better than DMC, the camera hasnt really messed me up much. Its not that hard either Raised, ive only died once and that was on a boss i didnt know how to kill.

D, what level you on and how many waepons you got? I only have sword, staff and claws. Is there more weapons or is that all of them?

I've got 5 or 6 at the moment but you can get the scythe on chapter 6 I've heard so that's another one as well. There are more weapons though as I looked at the leaderboard for something and it mentioned other weapons like tonfas. It's not really as hard as I made out it's just I'm rubbish at blocking.

Edit - I now have the scythe and it rocks. Best weapon so far.
Plus the voice "oooooh" when you enter the shop is one of the campest sounds I've heard in a video game since Enchanted Arms' Makoto's voice.

yeah, reminds me of an old guy on a beat em up that said 'ohhh' after every hit.

I've just beat Alexei and ive foudna couple more weapons now. Double swords is cool coz now im leonardo from the turtles! Just got a chain type thing so im liking this game, m glad there's lots of weapons.

The acheivements have ones for beating the game with one weapon so you can see there what weapons there are

*EDIT* I have one day left with this game and i've just got to the last level. Anyone else here playing this?
