now im no chelsea fan at all, but what they have done to avram grant is wrong in my opinion hes only been there...what..8 months and they get rid now, and say his time in charge wasnt good enough, i know when you look at it he hasnt wona trophy but he did quite well in his time there i think

champions league runners up
carling cup runners up
fa cup was a shock being beaten by barnsley 1-0

Maybe if he'd have won something then he'd still have a job. It's been in the media for as long as I can remember though and I'm sure he knew his cards were marked. Shame really as he did quite well considering.

He had to win something. I think any manager could win a trophy with those players. Think about how much abramovich is paying in wages each week. He wants a trophy every season or its not good enough. I dont think he made chelsea play pretty football like he said he would too.
