360 hdmi and optical

i couldn't use my hdmi socket before as it wouldn't fit with the normal leads plugged in and i couldn't use my optical out at the same time. they have done this so you have to buy a connector a ----- trick i refused to buy it untill i gave the hdmi a go at 1080p its nice a big improvement in sharpness. now i want my optical audio on and i came across this web site tryed his way and ended up nearly stabbing my finger it only broke a few layers of skin not all the way

i suggest you file the gap down with something first i used a butter knife with a jagged edge

I had my Xbox360 connected via HDMI on the new 32inch in my games room, I switched it back to VGA as I like the image quality better. I love gaming in 5.1 it gives you a real edge in COD4 as you really can hear people behind you.

well i was on 7.1 dowmixed to 5.1 on vga but i had to swap way for conponent as y vga switch died ans my pc takes prority over the vga socket
