As in the title, can you think of anything that you don't want to see on Xbox Live?

I'll start us off.

- Being charged for Gamerpics (Themes i can slightly understand)

- Marketplace Blade is a standard colour.

- people shouting down the microphone, and also people speaking a freign language

It can be anything, just give share your thoughts (Y) ;)

You cant stop someone from being on live because they're foreign, your foreign to them remember.

Buuuuut, all the underage 8 year old mother----ers that think they're it. Haven't you got to be 16/18 to have Live? Yeah well done microsoft. Why make it a rule if your not gonna follow it.

Well Foreign Languages don't bother me mainly because I'm not so stupid to expect everyone I meet on the Internet to be able to speak English, even as a non-native tongue.

I don't see why people get stressed or wound up by someone speaking French, I'd actually prefer it rather than some of the crap I've heard people discuss, especially Fanboy crap.

Now ideally it would make sense for individuals to declare their spoken languages and then for the Server to match you up based on that. However the main flaw would be to smaller nations or to less well known Languages. So I think the current situation is better. Also I doubt it's not something that comes across a lot for me as I spend a large amount of my Online Gaming with people I know or have player previously.

Personally I think additions to the Service would be more beneficial rather than problems you have with it, as I out of all them I don't think there is one issue you can't avoid yourself or would rate highly enough (beyond the last) for me or others to care.

I rather discuss the benefits of having an Internet Browser, YouTube Videos app similar to Apple TV's, Digital TV Recording, Larger or Self Upgrades for storage or even the possibility to store games on your Harddrive similar to Xbox Live Arcade and Xbox Originals.

I could do without the screaming children and the racism. Nothing brings down the fun blimp like racism.

Lose the expense of films. I'm paying 60 bucks a year just to get access to spend more money... :( Films should be one of those freebies included in my 60 smackers... well, not so free then, right?

There's far more upsetting things that you could here, then some young lad or lass saying he hates Paki's.

I think everyone would be happy to get the screaming brats off xbox live, but there is the option to mute everyone bar your friends list, thats the way I have mine set up.

I agree with DVX about free gamerpics and also themes. I think if you have bought the game you shouldnt be milked more for trivial items. Maps etc I will happily pay for if they extend the lifespan of a game.

I think Xbox Live is generally well done and I am happy to pay the price for it.

Gamerpics should be free, especially the smaller picture packs.

More offers on XBLA games, like the Texas Hold'Em thing, where there was like 48 hours to download it for free.

Multi-person private chat/video chat.

Easier navigation of marketplace - no matter how many times they change it, it never seems any better/easier...

All I got for now.

Wrong. You have to 18 to pay for live, not use it. Hence your parents can pay for you. You're right though, those 10 year old squeeky voices M-f'ers piss me off to no extend.

how nice would it be if they could split XBL so over18 and under18 are kept seperate.

Same applies for MMO's, and basicly any other instance where youre forced to have contact with that particular age group without being able to physicly slap them around the room ;)

According to IGNs Spring Update Details a few weeks ago, Group Chat is coming.. sometime in the future. All I can say is it has been long enough, it should have been a feature from launch!

Ah well, my only other qualms with XBL - excluding my livid hatred for 12 year old n00bs - is Xbox Marketplace Navigation, am I right in thinking they could make it alot smoother and generally easier on the eyes. The most obvious comparison I can make is the new Playstation Network, its wrong to pit the two together but.. PSN is so much better in terms of style and sophistication. XBM just looks... immature and blockey, plus I'm currently using a black theme, and when I flip to the XBM blade it scorches my eyes with vivid orange! Then again.. maybe thats just personal preferance.
Anyone else get where I'm coming from?

But I guess that contract agreement only holds bearing if a parent tries to sue Microsoft on account that their child was exposed to explicit language or content through the use of XBL?
I don't know but please tell..

Wrong.

Sorry, but thats about payment, not usage. The person paying has to be 18 or older, it does not limit the usage of live to just that person.
