My mates are so frigging gay.
Now ive got a few mates that play COD 4 religiously, two of em came to my house the other week while i was playing vegas, they had a little go and both complained how it was TOO SLOW.
I love both games, but i think Vergas 2 is better, You can hide and cover yourself propperly, if you stick your head out on COD 4. BANG your dead. Veags is much more tactical and adds more realism to the gameplay. IMO
Now, I cant see where their coming from at all. I switch between COD and Vegas all the time and i would'nt say its slow at all. Ive tried to blag them into buying Vegas 2 so we can all play through co-op and online, but their having none off it.
Bloody puffs.
What d'ya think ?

I prefer COD4
I prefer the story and online
Mainly because I can't get online with RSV2 to work properly :p
I finished the RSV2 single player yesterday
It was good, but I much preferred COD4
I just found it more engaging and exciting
Im going to be trading RSV2 in for GTA IV mainly because now i've done single player and online doesn't work (and didnt with RSV either :S) properly
COD4 works fine as does every other online game
its strange

I can understand why your trading it in, but do you really think its slow ?
I play RSV2 online all the time, with no bother at all really.

I don't think it's slow no
Especially with a full lobby it's frantic
What i've played online I loved it, same with RSV
but i can only join games of people on my friends list, but no-one seems to play it a lot now so it's pointless keeping it

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is too buggy, i played around 6 hours of it before I took it back for a refund. At least with COD4 the online and single player are both excellent.

Strange that fusion, you sure it wasnt something do with your settings ?
When i first played RSV2 i did experience alot of lag but its been over the lasdt few weeks, the reasons my mate dont want to pay it they reckons its too slow. which i find quite pathetic, i thinks its too hard for them ;)
I love COD, dont get me wrongs its a class game, Just liking Vegas more

No my settings are fine
I can play on halo, COD4 and any other online game I have fine
But when i search for matches, my whole router crashes. The internet goes off, the wireless goes off, anything to do with the router stops working until I reconnect the router
It's happened every time i've searched for a match so it's not a one off thing

Vegas and call of duty are two entirely different games. Call of duty is basicly a railshooter that goes for the war-movie feel, where Vegas goes more for the tactical side of things, encouraging players to think before they shoot. This is inherantly a slower style of play, as you cant sprint around guns blazing without taking a bullet in the head.

I think it was mega slow, infact i was getting a sore head. Then i turned the controller sensitivity up to like 8/10 and it was perfect :)
I prefer Cod4 however as i am better at cod 4 than i am at vegas (Y)

Vegas 2 is not a patch on Vegas, the online is nowhere near as good, it was a let down. Story mode is good, although after completeing it 4 times Im done with the game.
I only bought COD4 about 2 weeks ago and its just amazing much better online. Its as fun as Vegas online, but very different games.

The only difference with Vegas 1 & 2 is the maps...the original maps are better than the new ones. The maps I play most are the recycled maps (Streets, Killhouse, Presidio).
I bet they'll release the originals so it'll be good.
Other than that I prefer playing Vegas 2 to CoD4....once getting to lvl 55 I lost interest in CoD4 and it gets very repetetive, I only play it when mates are on it. Vegas 2 I'm still enjoying, I guess I enjoy the slower more defensive style of play to the rush out throw all you have before dieing, rinse and repeat type play.
Oh and yes, Marshmallow Man does own all.
