nah, i've never needed more than the 20GB i have. I dont use the hard drive for music, i plug in my iPod so all it is for is demos and map packs and game saves. I can usually have about 6 or 7 demos without filling it up.

i might consider getting a larger HD when the video store finally kicks off in europe, but otherwise i can quite easily do with the 20gb i have. though ive had it full a few times but that was because i forgot to delete a lot of crap i still had stored.

You will never be able to use the full 250 gig capacity, you will be locked to 120gig as that is the largest HDD that MS sells for the 360, you need to have a valid 120 gig image on the drive before putting it in the 360. If you see the eBay auctions for 120 gig brown box drives that the Hong Kong sellers are flogging they are unofficial drives that have been flashed and put in a caddy.
They work fine and are undetectable by MS.

Too true. My Elite had 100GIG spare!...you only get 105 to play with. I always delete demos (when i do download them that is!)..and the 5 GIG used were maps, arcade games etc.
There's no need for a 360 to have a huge HDD - unless you play around with it.

the movies store might make us need more space but i wont be using it. I dont download xbox originals either, they may take up space.

You dont get the movies to keep so they will only take up space until you watch them. As for demo's you can delete and re-download them if you fancy. I think MS and the publishers are hoping that you actually purchase the game though. I have nearly 40 arcade titles installed and have over 9 gig free.
