Anyone watch The Gadget Show (8pm Channel 5)? I found it entertaining (being a gadget whor...lover).
In case you missed it, here's some of the products which appeared on the show:
Laptops
Sony Vaio TZ31 (£1373.58)
A lightweight carbon fibre chassis, top notch X-black screen, 7-hour battery and SIM card slot for 3G web-surfing make this a seriously stacked laptop.
Apple Macbook Air (£1,199.00)
As thin and lightweight as its name suggests, the Macbook Air is quite possibly the most desirable notebook on the market. But has Apple chopped out too much in its efforts to keep the waistline trim?
Asus EEE PC (£216.59)
Cheap and cheerful and dinky enough to drop in your manbag, the Eee PC has taken the world by storm and possibly changed the face of laptops forever.
Top 5: Gadgets for 2008
Rock Band
Taking the concept behind the insanely popular Guitar Hero and adding a microphone and drum kit, Rock Band looks set to become the ultimate in party games.
WiMax
Working like long range Wi-Fi, WiMax delivers Internet access with no line rental, as well as upload speeds up to four times quicker than regular ADSL broadband.
OLED TV
Delivering amazing colour, contrast and brightness, OLED could well be the future of television technology - and the panel used in Sony's first screen is a mere 3mm thick!
Microsoft Surface
Similar to the multi-touch interface of the iPhone but on much larger screens, Surface allows you to manipulate digital content using physical gestures, hand motions and objects.
Wii Fit
This step add-on for Nintendo's console adds a whole new dimension of balance and movement-based gameplay.
Focus Group
Halo 3 Coveneant Plasma Rifles (£79.95)
Halo fans rejoice! You can now wield the Arbiter's favourite firearm yourselves, blasting a buddy with its laser tag function.
TN Games 3rd Space FPS Vest (£149.95)
Not your average bodywarmer, this vest hooks up to your PC, delivering precise impacts whenever and wherever you?re hit in-game.
Boston Venom 3D Gamer (£2159.00)
Boston's mean-looking PC takes gaming into the third dimension, being specially designed to work with a proper 3D monitor and sunglass-style specs.
