Apologies in advance for the following question (I did try and search old posts but no joy) - I have now got my gamer card up but I dont have any gamerscore even though I have many achievements on my five games. Heres the question - do you have to be online to post the gamerscore or is there another way?? I am not on live yet but hope to be soon. Also how do you get the little game icons on your card - again is this a Live thing?? :( :(

Yes, you have to have an XBOX Live acount.

You'll have to be online im afraid, for adding both your gamer points, rep and current played games to your gamercard :(

When you get setup on Live you 'should' be able to convert your current offline profile into your Live profile...at that point your Achievements etc. will be uploaded to Live and your Gamercard on the left will be populated.

I said 'should' as I already had a Live account before my 360 so I didn't get to do the above. Others who had an offline account have ended up deleting it and creating a new Live account...meaning loss of Achievements whilst others have succesfully converted offline accounts to Live accounts. Basically if you have issues don't delete your offline account!! Post up and I'll find out what you need to do to convert your profile!
