*Players need to make sure their GTs that are registered for the event are their current ones and both players are fully registered with the CM site and forums. Teams will be removed from the event if they field unregistered players.

Games must be played and reported by 9pm this coming Sunday [25.11.07] and then look out for Round 2 fixtures later the same night. I will have a look through the rules again and update this thread with anything that's worth noting.

EDIT:

Remember that the 'HOME' team will host 1st and 3rd games and the 'AWAY' team for the 2nd game. The maps are chosen by the 'Off Host' team. the list of maps to choose from are:

Do you not think it would be fair to have the home team chose atleast 1 map.

Host doesnt make to much difference and for the away team to pick all maps is abit unfair if you ask me (Y)

Your completely right and i wasn't over clear on my wording for that rule. I have replaced the word AWAY with 'OFF Host' now which means the team team that is playing off host gets the choice of maps meaning that if your team only is hosting 1 game in the match at least you get to choose of 2 of the maps being played.

If I were you and won I'd donate the prizes to 2nd place....other wise the conspiracy theorists will say the place is cheap and doesn't want to dish out the goodies. It's always nice to have some grateful souls with free stuff stating their love for CM (if only for a short while).

It doesn't sound fair to me. If you win that is, I don't see why you can't have the prizes. That is after all the reward for winning a CM tournament. Theres other new members who have joined to just participate in the tournament and if they win I doubt they'd give their free swag away willingly. I'm sure whoever wins will be a worthy winner anyway.

I would urge everyone to just get a single time sorted arranged and stick to it, the games will only last around 30-40 minutes anyway so lets just get them in.

Ok , all you can do then is to record what is going on with the fixture on here on in this thread, so when the chopping board comes out you can say 'Oy spin its not our fault the game didn't get played look we posted here, here and here to show we tried setting up the game, its their fault not ours' .

Cover your backs if needs be with MSN logs etc... It all helps me make a decision when situations like this come about.
