What game next?

So many good games coming out and I don't want to buy them all. So what should i buy? Looking for a good multiplayer game.

We have orange box(like 4-5 games), COD4, Halo3 and i think UT2008 comes out this year. There's not doubt more online shooters too.

It's an option, Halo3 that is. I'm just waiting and trying to decide on one long term multiplayer games :p

Football + racing I'm not into much. I have a game of each but it's not what I'm looking for.

There's too many, but i'll get them all, keep me very busy in the run up to Christmas. PGR4, Orange Box, possibly PES2008 (enjoying FIFA 08 at the moment), Call of Duty 4, Assassins Creed etc. but for multiplayer, by the looks of it, Orange Box looks like that's the way to go.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Orange Box, but I've heard that there may be a shortage of maps? At the moment I cannot see me playing anything other than Halo 3 for quite some time, as I am enjoying it far more than I expected to (never played a Halo game before, either).. despite the single player game being less than I could have hoped for the online stuff is just excellent (and fewer idiots online than people's experiences of Halo 2 had lead me to believe).. Although Mass Effect looks fabby (no MP on that though).
I'd see what the reaction to The Orange Box is and then make a choice then.

Bazz, apparently they're making 15 free maps for team fortress or half life. So there won't be a shortage.

I kinda feel like the online challenges in COD4 are like acheivments i actually prefer them and they will take a while to unlock them all.

100% agree beta was very good felt very realistic and has a lot of new features in the multiplayer, went on Rainbow 6 other night felt ancient to me lol, Call duty 2 feels like a myth now lol, Infinity Ward has really raised the bar now

i've pre-ordered mass effect, assassins creed, and i want to get The orange box. Also my 360 is being repaired atm for an issue i've had for ages about connecting to XBL, so when it comes back i'll be able to do gears multiplayer, halo 3 multiplayer etc for the first time.. YAY

played the teaser demo, it felt kinda good, but i the aliens vs marines thing has been kinda overdone, dont you think? Especially with 4 other great games comming up this november, its not surprising some games get shoved to the background.

If you have time to spare i suggest mass effect, if you have a week end to spare and like a good story line then choose assassinsomething abit different. Finally if you love action and on-line play and hate terrorists then chooseCOD 4 :D
