Woo, got it this morning and been playing it since, everything about it is amazing! Anyone found some good skate spots or even parks? I can't seem to find any parks.

Ye well i purchased this yesterday have not played it yet but i liked the realistic aspect to the game when i played the demo, i find Tony Hawk just stupid with all the tricks that you could do just were not realistic.

I semi-got it today, and the game is fantastic, got myself sponsored by Almost (Y) ooh yeah.

Some of the footage tasks are near impossible though, i'm sure JJBDude has no problem with them though :p.

In career do you have to do both thrasher and the skate mag companys to complete the game because i am totally stuck with the skate mag as the challenges i have to do are very hard.

Do any of you feel the map is quiet small in career?

I am not far in but do u unlock other areas later in the game?

The map is actually huge, I still haven't found all the cool skating spots. You unlock x-games and stuff later which is actually one of the best places for the challenges. The actually game story is to get onto the main skater magazines + win x-games.

I was given this and i liked the demo but couldn't get into the game until i did the suburbs challenges. After that the game became easier to get into because it just clicked for me - im still crap at it mind. The game world is huge and even though i have never skated ever nor will i think its great. I have always loved Tony Hawks games but this is better. prob not at first as Tony does have that pick up and play feel to it -but skate. is just so much better. I went a bank doing the coffin move about 50 times yesterday it was great! and fast

I picked this up today and have spent more time watching skate.tv than playing the game itself.

It never fails to amaze me just how creative people can be within the confines of a cleverly written computer program.

How many attempts did it take to pull that one off?

Well what we were doing was trying a longer line than that, the jump you see in that vid was the very start of the line, we tried loads of times to get it right though, at least 30.

I can't progress with the career mode because I just can't stop watching skate.tv.

The very first achievement I unlocked was the 5-point "voyeur" one for watching a live event!

It's just cool watching others try (and most often fail at) difficult tricks.

I've even surprised myself by whooping when someone's been trying hard and eventually managed to do a difficult stunt.

Last night, I had a random player I'd been watching, message me afterwards to ask me if I'd rate a video they'd cut of a trick I'd just seen them pull-off!

It's so addictive - and I'm not even playing the damn thing!

Haha, playing spot battle is fun too. The amount of people who just hit stuff is amazing.
